"As of April 1, 2006 Four Star Products and Premium Auto Care have transferred management to Perfect Shine LLC, which is operated by David Ostroff and David Byron (part of the Autopia Group).

As with any new management team, their business plans differ from previous management. Autogeek.net has discontinued Four Stars products, as our business plans do not coincide. We wish Rick Vaal of Four Star products and his new management team continued success in their future business endeavors.

We hope this decision does not inconvenience our customers. We will be adding new product lines in the next four to six weeks, in addition to expanding our own ever-growing product lines.

Thank you for your continued support"

Four Star products are awesome and everything, but honestly if I had to choose.....

I just checked out Premium Auto Care and although it says it is operated by The Perfect Shine, LLC. it still has this on the bottom right hand of every page:

I woder if they are using Dwayne's business name with his permission or if they are donging it to make people people think that sale are going to him. They really should put their own name on the site.

Soooo? Premium auto care / 4 star is now sponsering the autopia site? Is that what all this means? Sounds like part of the reason behind 4 star leaving this site and its other retailers is due to raising prices?

Also this whole management switch, does this mean the man who started 4 star is no longer involved with 4 star?

Whatever is going on with them has to do with money i'm sure, Money makes the world go round.

All I know is that I buy from people and I don't care what the URL says. If Autogeek changes it's name to "stuff that makes your car shine.com" and it is still run by the same people, then I'll probably still buy from them. If Dwayne changes his store name to 'poop car care products' and it is still him and Troy at the helm, then I'll still buy from them too. Like I said.. I buy from people and not from URLs.

Autopia does not own or run Four Star..............For whatever reasons, Dwayne is no longer selling FS products (Or AG), and thats obviously a practical business move/decision. Perfect Shine will be operating the PAC site, that is also a practical business move/decision. And thats all. Why does everyone read into this, more then there is to read?
Give the sites a few days to implement their changes......
