03topless snake is starting to get a good reputation around here.
Re: Wenol Red is Back!

Is this the fix for the "haze" that I see in some chrome wheels? I have tried everything under the sun on my dad's chrome viper wheels. Not matter what I use there is still a "haze" in some small spots.

Thanks

Haze on chrome? I would associate that with polished aluminum.... I use to polish my aluminum rims (non-clear coated) all the time and the product that I used said that after using the polish and wiping clean...to use baking soda to remove the rest of the hazing...it worked like a charm...now would that work on chrome not sure

Deanski would be a good candidate for mayor of Detail City.

How would this stack up against Zephyr Pro-40 products....I haven't found anything that has worked better.
Not sure as I haven't used the Zephyr, but Wenol Red has quite a bit of cut to it. Mostly used for metal that is not chromed or plated as it can remove it. Strong amonia odor for cleaning as well. You CAN use it on plated metal but do not rub hard or long and you'll be OK.

I do see it in the store now and then. Not sure to cost. Also in other Chef stores.

I still stick with Flitz, P21S, Autosol etc. Unless the metal is so badly oxidized, I use the ones listed. But Red is best for heavy cleaning/polishing really dirty/oxidized metal. Remember, metal polish should be used just like any paint polish... use the least abrasive and work up!

Regards,
Deanski
