Re: go to autogeek

I think this post is typical of the world we have come to live in. Everyone expects something for free or as little as possible. They expect to double their coupons and take advantage of multiple offers. Sure there is a profit in detailing supplies, but if we offered free shipping, 20% off, and throw in a free gift every now and then well were not going to be in business very long.

One other note, does anyone truly know what a 10.00 per hour employee truly costs a company. 38.00-42.00 on average per hour !! Ever heard of Social Security ?? Workmans Comp ?? Health Care Premiums ?? Vacation ?? Sick Time ?? Training ?? Retirement Benefits ?? Ask your employer to tell you what your true cost is to your company in the coming days.

Splichy, I understand your plight. That said, you are missing the point. Shop one vendor versus the other based upon TOTAL cost at checkout. I would also suggest keeping the vendors reputation in mind. We offer many "different" sales because each adds value to a specific group, maybe you should await the next Free Shipping Offer ?? If its another vendor thats deal is currently best, well we are sorry we lost your business, but tried to make the fairest deal for all parties. (little joke ... we dont carry Zymol for a reason, we would have to charge to much shipping for a product that still doesnt compare to our Souveran paste)

And in closing, Merry Xmas to all and may their be peace as we move into the New Year. :smile :smile :smile

Everybody has a right to their own opinions and a right to shop where they choose. Freedom is what makes our country great. Whether one agrees with Spilchy or not, he still has the right to express his thoughts and opinions the same as the rest of us. In the end, all of us should be lead to do as our own conscious dictates. Merry Christmas everybody.

Re: go to autogeek

I have made many purchases from AG, PB and some from DC. I look at the shipping cost to not only be the cost to ship, but to also take care of my order and have it packaged nice and secure.

They treat my orders like how I would treat them. I'm sure most of you have your supplies organized neatly and treat your products with special care. That's how these vendors also treat our orders. And if something does go wrong, due to the fault of the shipping carrier, they are sure to get you a replacement at their expense with no questions asked.

I feel I'm not only paying for shipping, but also a service and the peace of mind that my products will be well taken care of.

Re: go to autogeek

Let's just step back and take a breath for a moment. This post was simply to inform members that one of our vendors had a special that is above and beyond what they normally do. It was not intended to be a post about shipping. If you guys want to talk shipping go start your own thread in the Off Topic Forum. This post has seen enough of this type of discussion. Several of the posts that were taking this thread down the wrong road have been removed.
