No!

Earth-Sun distance, d = roughly 150 million km (defined as 1 Astronomical Unit)

Just make sure to rinse the mitts out thoroughly, ring them out and let them air dry after each use. I use the Black Wheel Shmitt and it has been subject to numerous uses and exposed to various wheel cleaners and has held up for over 8 months so far.

Although I wouldn't recommend it, I think if you go to a local gas station and put in a few quarters they can have you in and out of the car wash in five minutes or less.

The Earth is pretty far away from the sun but since the sun is so hot, it feels a lot closer. Especially during the summer.

The discount is valid on all of our waxes and sealants.

Don't you think you should turn the headlights on before getting up to that speed? BTW, we are here to answer detailing and product related questions too but I don't mind the silly ones, as long as I have a good answer for them.

OK...what product would you use to buff out burned marks on your car from driving at the speed of light?

My car wouldn't have any burn marks. It is covered in Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.

Re: Ask the Autogeek! Question & Answer Thread

What ever happened to the original LC 6-6.5 foam pads. The flat ones with about an 1''-1.25'' in thickness. I loved those. Everything has groves or pockets now.

I still see other vendors selling them, I'd love to be able to buy them from autogeek.

Have you tried the Lake Country CCS or the Cobra Cross Grooves yet? If so, what was your opinion on the performance?

One of the main reasons that so many manufacturers started putting dimples and grooves in the pads is the reduction of heat and friction allowed the product to be worked longer on the paint surface with less product being used.

When we tested the new designs, we were in agreement with the manufactures and embraced the new technology.

Of course car care products are quite often the subject of debate and if there is enough demand for these pads, I'm sure that we would take the flat pads into consideration. I will definitely let Max know that there is some interest.

Yeah, I have a few of the CCS in different sizes. Thing is, I still ahve soo many of the flat pads from years before, that I guess I learned with those, so they're much easier. Unless otherwise dirty or unavailable, I always grab for the flat ones from my cabinet.
