The "Bone" for rinseless washing?

Any of you using the Cobra Bone MF covered sponge for rinseless washing?

When I saw the Bone in the title, I was going to come in here and say just how good it is for rinseless washing.

It's very plush with a fairly deep pile, rinses easily, and is very nice to grip. It's also very cheap and I've had mine for years if that tells you anything!

I guess that means you like it.

The BOGO makes it very appealing. I just need to think of something more to order to make the shipping charge worthwhile.

Sounds like a great idea!
The only thing stopping me is the gallon of Four-in-One and the gallon of Optimum No Rinse and the three gallons of Poorboy's Spray & Wipe I already have on hand.

I also have at least a gallon of regular car wash so I don't think I'll order more washing solution.

Thanks, but I have grout sponges from both Home Depot and Lowes, sea sponges, sheepskin mitts, short pile MF mitts, long pile MF mitts, ShMitts, cotton chenille mitts, and cotton chenille covered sponges.

I'm only interested in your experience with the "Bone".

That's 30 minutes I'll never get back. I wasn't familiar with the product being discussed. I Googled "Cobra Bone" and came across this: YouTube - My 2004 Cobra bone stock dyno. One thing lead to another and I ended up watching a dozen Mustang videos and I still haven't gotten to the The Bone. Going back to search now.

I have a couple of these I bought from AG - I have never used it in a rinseless application. I have used them in the 2 bucket method. I like that you can use both sides of the sponge before having to rinse. What I found I didn't like was the fact that they are really thick and do not fit under roof racks very easily. I throw them in the washer with my MF towels and their good to go again. I have two of them for about a year and still going strong.

After several days of rain, (raining today as well), the forecast for the next week is for dry weather.
Since the GP can stay in the garage until next Wednesday, I figure I have at least some chance of it being clean for a day or two. At least while it stays in the garage.
Anyway, mixed up my DP 4 in 1 in my double bucket with my usual warm water and went after it.
The "Bone" holds a lot of wash solution, but it doesn't drip out in use unless you squeeze it a little. Same as with all my sponges so that was no great surprise. It seemed to glide across the paint just like the other wash media I use.
As mentioned in another post, it does need to be squeezed down to get into some tight spaces. Under door handles, around mirrors and under the spoiler as examples.
The size is an advantage as far as hanging on to it. I have large hands and I prefer larger washing and waxing tools.
It holds lots of suds and seems to not cause any marring.
It cleaned up pretty good in the washing machine. About the same as my other chenille or MF mitts or sponges.
I do like the large size and I'm sure I will use it a lot.
Overall, a good product so far.

Is it anything really special? Probably not, but after all it is a washing tool. How special can it get? It does a good job, but so do all my other wash mitts and sponges.
I don't think you will be disappointed if you buy a couple. Especially with the BOGO deal.
