well my question is this, after viewing the black magic PH test for some wheel cleaners such as eagle one and meguiars, I have ditched using my eagle one as it was highly alkaline based and terrible for alloy and aluminum wheels after time, so i switched to meguiars hot rims all wheel cleaner and seem to get similar results as far as cleaning ability goes and i got the megs half price at my work so thats a plus.

been looking at that p21s gel wheel cleaner, armor all's triple action wheel cleaner and many more for other alternatives.

im looking for the hands down best/most recommended wheel cleaner on various makes and models of vehicles/aftermarket wheels as well because some of the ones i try seem to be vastly different than another cleaner.

im going to make a basic list and an "other" catergory with please state beside it so ........ GO .

Where I have not used all of the ones you've listed...the PB stands as a tried and true favorite.

Its not going to be easy to list the BEST one hands down..its like any car care product...we all have our go to!

PB S&R all the way for me. It seems to be the most effective.

+3 for PB S&R. One of the better products that really loosens built on brake dust requiring minimal effor to clean.

ok i will rephrase the title, most recommended wheel cleaner

i have yet to see one cleaner that absolutely requires no agitation to fully clean a wheel unless your getting into very harsh acids etc. which i dont want to go there .

You're out of luck. Most cleaners requires agitation. If it doesn't, its either very caustic or highly acidic.

IMO, the best all around wheel cleaner is Auto Magic's Red-Hot (#51) dilluted to a ratio of one part cleaner with four parts water.

I don't know if they are the "best" but 2 that have worked well for me are Eagle one A2Z and the advance auto house brand.

P21S is good, but the best performance and value in my world is Griot's Garage wheel cleaner.

P21S Wheel Cleaner Gel here. Chemical Guys is supposed to have one that may be comparable and cheaper so my opinion may change.

I think it depends on the wheel and the conditon. I try use only the left over car wash and water works great a lot of the time. Meguiars All wheel cleaner is good, also have used Diluted APC with great success and for the really tuff stuf Meg Wheel Brightner.
