    It`s a cover up !!!! (pic heavy)

Well as some of you know, the dealer installed some after market swirls, marring and rids into my car by washing it in their tunnel wash.

Well not having the place do my car in winter anymore I figured I`d let it go till spring.

I couldn`t take it any more.

So I decided to do a cover up...

    Dealer installed swirls:

    Using PB Black Hole:

    After Natty`s Blue:

    After S&G wipe down:

Pulled out inot 20 degree weather.

    Today !!!!

The mark you see in the lower right side is a reflection, not a scratch.

Not bad for a cover up job. I had to bring it to the dealer today to have the oil sensor put in, he couldn`t believe it.

    Ron

I use BH all the time for this reason...just this weekend I did my Camry that had some minor swirls and did just what you did...worked like a charm...on my JB BMW it was almost a must in-between polishing jobs

It or you did a great job!
Keep us informed as to how many washes it takes to remove enough wax and glaze for the swirls to show up again.
This process might get me through the winter without using the polisher. Like you, after about so long looking at the damage, I think I have to do something about it.
The problem with that is that in an Iowa winter, there will be more damage.

Same for CT since we`re due a storm tomorrow. And that stupid rodent in PA saw it`s shadow, so it`s gonna be tough for a while.

I actually used the polisher ot apply the Black Hole.

As I said I went from just finishing up to pulling it outside and leaving it in 20 degree weather all night. So I was worried about how it would look this am. It looked better than it did last night, so at this point I am at least happy with it (till spring when I can do it properly)

Charles...I can answer that since I`ve been doing this for some time now...If you are bucket washing about two to three washes...BH and Nattys is a soft finish on the car...not that highly durable finish like you see with a sealant...S&W it can hold up a bit longer...for me about the 4th time I start using S&W I start to see evidence that its coming back...this is also based on a once a week cleaning

I would have loved to use a sealant, but since it was cold out last night, I was afraid it wouldn`t cure. As well as I wanted a little more "fill".
