Which is your favorite Clay

Since the dissapearance of the beloved "Yellow" clay, what have others been using in replace of.
The last of my yellow clay will be gone soon and I was wondering what others have been using as a replacement.

Thanks
"J"

Re: Which is your favorite Clay

Never used any yellow clay.

I've used blue and red both from automagic. I've seen white but never used it either.

You should try the automagic blue a try.

I really like Wolfgangs clay. It's a little pricey, but it works really well.

I too, am looking for a clay now. My last bar fell on the ground. I spent an hour cutting it up, slicing it, and what not......lol Tried saving it.....It was useless. Time to lower the flags.......

Good question J! I'm still hoarding some of that wonderful old yellow Erazer manufactured clay for my own personal use, but I'd like to be able to have another brand/model to recommend to other people.

Considering the AutoInt 3 Step system. Clay is really for Overspray. Who else has Plastic/Elastic Clay? I think Sonus/Pinnacle do.

I've never preferred the yellow clay, honestly. I use the AutoMagic Blue, and before that a Japanese company version of the same stuff (grey). It's all expensive.

I still have some that I got from Steve at PB

I also get some from my local supplier....gray in color, that is real good for over-spray removal and the likes of that

Re: Which is your favorite Clay

So, if, hypothetically, someone had some of this miraculous stuff, what would the going rate be?
And, how can you tell what you have vs. the yellow Mothers clay (which I've read is not the same stuff? )

It's a ban on selling any form of automotive clay that resembles AutoWax's patented "design". They basically hold the rights to sell and manufacture Clay from what I understand.

Considering the already high price point for Clay, it's merely just for the ease of use and comfort. It isn't miraculous to a point I'd pay more than $5 for regular clay. I'd save it and use it for those special vehicles. Mother's clay is alot smaller, and last time I remember wasn't as easy to mold. For example, if you were to bend the big block, you wouldn't see a hint of the crumbly texture on the sides. Almost I guess like Taffy or Soft
