Re: Touch Up Paint/Clay Bar
Clay to start all the clay is going to do is remove the surface crud...then clean up the areas in question and use the touch up paint

Re: Touch Up Paint/Clay Bar
i apply the touch up where it is slightly bubbled up, it should settle in as it dries, wait a few days and then give a light polish to smooth/even it out, then seal or wax

Re: Touch Up Paint/Clay Bar
i apply the touch up paint i use enough paint so that it is slightly bubbled up and the paint should dry into the area you are touching up, then once it is dry lightly polish the area smooth

First off as said above make sure you wipe down the area with some type of wax/greese remover like prepsol. Then apply your touch up paint a little more than needed this is what somebody refered to as where it is slightly bubbled up this will give you more to work with then having to try to do it again. Depending on how you want to finish it off from there is up to you. Hope that helps a little |

Re: Touch Up Paint/Clay Bar
so i got the mothers clay bar kit today! worked pretty well, theres still a bunch of small spots but i cannot feel them...would a more abrasive clay take these out? Would the pre wax cleaner be enough before i use touch up? or buy the prepsol?

Re: Touch Up Paint/Clay Bar
Do you have a picture? We could probably give a little better advice if we knew what you are working with.
