Just got Riccardo Clay

Well - About 2 months ago I was invited to go to Canada to a friends parents cottage. I asked my buddy if I could have some RIccardo clay shipped to the cottage. No problem. So, I was in Canada this past weekend and picked up my Riccard clay. I had ordered 5 bars from Eshine and had them shipped it to the cottage. I will let you know how I like it next week - plan on detailing black acura integra.

Re: Just got Riccardo Clay

I have heard of this clay before, mainly through the posts here. Is there something special about it compared to other clays out there?

Personally have never used it - yet. So I am really anxious to try it out. I thought I read somewhere in the forums that the elasticity of it makes it very easy to use...

Calgary Detail uses it all the time - maybe he will chime in.

I agree

I got them on sale and loved that fact that you just snap them together...easy to move and cheap at the time...but worthless as detail shelves as the holes kept knocking my product over...card board was the trick...I guess we think a like

Re: Just got Riccardo Clay

congrats on the riccardo clay.....

some asked what is ggo great about it.

It a super elasticy clay, it does not crumble or break, i have left it in buckets of water over night and its still fine. It is juist a great clay, lots of bite but dosnet marr the hell out of your pants, holds toghter well and its just plain easier to work with comapred to the traditional grey clay.

Some may remeber the old elasti-clay that many suppliers sold, the yellow stuff. Its that.

Well, if it doesn't marr the hell out of my pants then I don't want it!
