says its $19.95 assuming US Funds on their website
and comes with the clay, showtime detailer which ive been told to use liberally with the clay process in this specific brand and then followed up with the caranuba cleaner wax .

Does Anyone Have Detailed Pics with this kit in USE ?? Please anyone out there i would love to see a full car treated with this kit and the results.

This is a very common clay kit, and will do a bang up job on your car..you can't go wrong with it...I've used Mother clay in the past, good stuff...but pics will really not show anything that dramatic...IMO

The cleaner wax that comes with it would be a good step next, unless you want to polish to remove some swirls.

If you want to write up a review that would be great those are always welcomed!

The Walmart here has Meg smoothe clay kit for $14.99 comes with clay, quick detailer and microfiber towel. I use this kit and it works great. With the patent here in the States clays are all pretty much the same, there are aggressive, mild and fine but as far as I know that is the only true difference. I wish I was up in Canada just so I can get some Riccardo clay.

For the most part you can't go wrong with any clay kit they are all about the same. Some have more aggressiveness then others but for the most part do the same job.

-2003 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ-Charcoal/Graphite like in color with Goldish trim (pretty common)

-2007 Mercury Milan Premier-Oxford White

Would it be useful to use clay on one or the other.

By no means do I detail, but I like to keep a clean vehicle. You can tell I do not detail by the products I use but they are OK with me at the moment.

My list includes:

-Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash: Just Purchased

-Meguiars Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner: Step 1, I do this after a wash. I suppose I do this to the whole vehicle..right.

-Turtle Wax Bug & Tar/Sap Remover. (It's Ok, I do not know anything different)

-Nu Finish Car Polish (is this really polish, if it says "Polish", I should follow that up with the "Wax"-like the Black Magic or the Eagle One Nanowax??)

-Black Magic Wet Shine Liquid Wax: it was kind of hard to get off and streaky, I had to use a damp towel to get the streaks out..maybe I am doing something wrong.

-Eagle One Nanowax: just purchased at Big Lots for $3, should this also follow a polish??

-Eagle One A2Z Wheel & Tire Cleaner: stained my clear coated rims, will see if the Meg. Paint Cleaner improves the rims.

-Eagle One Wet Tire Shine

-Armor All Original Protectant: for tires and in/outside trim

***Lots of application and buffing going on here.

I am considering the Poor Boy Trim Restorer: is this only for the exterior??

Looking at getting the Porter Cable 7424 for about $119. But my wife is going to kill me when she see how quickly this stuff can add up.

Can somebody direct me on the minimum number of pads, bonnets etc..a good value?

What about the cheapy buffers/polishers (usually 7") on ebay or harbor freight? Will the pads used on the Porter cable fit on these 7" tools?

One other thing, is this Pinnacle XMT 360 is good as it says it is. Saw buy one, get one.

Also, Need Towels: how many, which ones etc., I just want to do a nice job on my vehicles without breaking the bank and keeping my wife happy.

You can get this kit (and the Meguiar's kit) at Canadian Tire for around $27/$28, with no S+H. This way, if it doesn't work as you would like, you can return it. (But it does work as stated, so you shouldn't need to retun it.)

You might get a better reply rate if you started your own thread about this, since most of it doesn't pertain to the clay kits.

But, as to your questions:
-Megs Step 1-Yes, whole car.
-NuFinish-a 1 step product. It cleans and protects at the same time. Fairly strong cleaners. (IMHO, doesn't last a whole year for protecting/beading). You wouldn't need to use Step 1 and this.
-BM Wax-Probably tough to get off because a)too much applied-rub it in thin so you barely have any haze left. b) too hot or humid out. Try in the shade, morning or evening.
-EO Nanowax-Can follow Step 1.Fills fine swirls fairly well. Not really long lasting, though. Tends to leave a "greasy" film if it doesn't have enough time to dry. Needs to be buffed thoroughly.
-PB TR-Should be for the outside, but I have seen results that looked pretty nice from people using it on interior plastics. Never tried this myself, though.
-Rotary buffers from Harbor Freight-Not for the inexperienced. The PC is much safer. If you contact Troy or Sheila at the DC store, they can set you up with the PC, Backing plate (doesn't come with one from the factory), and pads. And you can get 10% off using the DC members discount code.
(They can also set you up with towels. Get lots, if you can. You don't want to try to do too much with too few towels. Try to get at least 1 laundry load worth, as you shouldn't wash MF with anything else, not should you use fabric softener on them.)
-XMT360-No clue. Never used it.
-Liquid Glass-another 1 stepper. You could use it in between polishing sessions to keep the car looking shiny. (Haven't ever used it myself, though.)

Black Magic Wax has a history of being difficult to remove...even Consumer Reports mentioned in their wax review. If something is difficult to remove, it usually means you are applying too much. In my experience, I have the least issues with streaking when I applied it using a foam applicator. Machine is even better.

I have two bottles of Eagle A2Z and I am afraid to use it. For my cars, I rarely use a wheel cleaner if at all possible. I use car wash and then either chrome polish for chrome wheels or plastic polish (or paint polish) for coated wheels. Acid wheel cleaners are a no no but high alkaline wheel cleaners can be bad on coated wheels (it is really just a more durable clear paint). Some people go for the most aggressive product (sure thing to clean) but the milder stuff is actually safer even if it means doing twice.

Remember, less is almost always better (polish, wax, wheel cleaner, etc) and always use lesser aggressive products if possible. It never hurts to have more than one brand of same class product in the arsenal since they all have their advantages and disadvantages.

mothers kit was bought at a meijer store in the states over the past weekend and going to be testing it out and doing a review this weekend hopefully, and will be probably testing it out on my dads BMW as it is a new car and shouldnt need any paint treatment prior to applying the cleaner liquid wax after claying.

will be doing a simple write up and will take a bunch of pics when i get it done.

yeah i think its good bang for the buck on newer cars especially when u dont need to machine polish its a good alternative method !
