I was playing around and I found a way to place the attachments anywhere within your post not just at the bottom.
It's a little tricky but pretty cool. Each pic is a click to enlarge as an attachment so you can consolidate a post and make it load faster if you want. This will keep you from having to re-size the photo in most cases.
Here's how you do it:
Upload attachments as described in the above post. As you're uploading each one click on the link of the picture and it will open the picture in your browser:
You will see the attachment id in the address bar:
Copy it (If you are doing a bunch you might want to paste them together in a note pad document).
Once you have them all copied you can paste them into your post where you want them.
Important: You need to wrap the attachment id with tags like this for it to work:
[attach]attachment id[/attach]
I just attached this pic using these tags:
lotus and ferrari 033.jpg
As you can see this is a huge picture once you click it a few times to get it to full size.
This way you can have the ability to have over-sized or multiple pics without bogging down the thread.
