RIP Chef Rene
Last night shortly after 11 PM my father in law passed on...He has been battling liver cancer for the last year and last night he lost the battle.
I really admired him for his passion to follow his dream of working in the culinary industry. His career spanned the globe from Europe, Asia, The Middle East, South America, Mexico and the US. He was awarded the La Creme award...its the highest award for any chef in the world..less than 10% of chefs are even considered for it. He went out in a grand fashion with his three daughters, wife and his sister from Germany at his side. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!
