I've got a 22C and like it very much. It's got virtually every after market part made stuffed in it. I can't tell you that all of the parts are worthwhile but I can tell that a mercury filled guide rod in a ported Glock makes it a real pussy cat to shoot. I can also easily recommend LightningStrike's metal trigger assembly. It's much smoother than the plastic Glock setup. I'll definitely get a 23 but I'm pretty well determined to get a SP101 and then send it off to a particular smith. He does phenomenal work. He turns it in to a bobtailed, slab side. I'm pretty much a S&W guy when it comes to the looks of a revolver but this is without question the prettiest little CCW revolver I've ever seen. I know that it won't appeal to everyone but this one turns my crank. It's the one on the bottom. You can compare it to the shorter barreled before version above it. Notice the front fiber sight and the edge de-burring. It's slick.

Note: This isn't mine but I would like one just like it. This gentleman has good taste, he's given me the name of the Smith that did this for him (upgrades @$300).

I have a smith .38 stainless, hammerless 5 shot. rated for +P+.

Is that the ruger speed 6 ? If so, that's the first gun I bought. Great gun, didnt care what you would feed it.

It's a Ruger SP101 but only holds 5 rounds, I believe the one on top is a GP100 but don't quote me on that. It will shoot anything from .38 Special to Plus P's to 357's. They also make this gun in a .327, .32 and in just a .38 Special though I don't know why one would limit themselves when the .357 would do this and more. I also have a couple of snubby Smith's one is a 5 shot .38 Smith and Wesson. This caliber is kind of a dinosaur. I like my S&W's very much but I really like this little revolver.

Re: Firearms carry

the speed 6 was the predicessor to the gp100. it was a .357 stainless. but then again that was 1075 or 1976.
