Help my paint
I have 97 GMC and it is my daily driver. I use the meguires 3 step and top it off with NXT. I havent got a good deep wet shine from this system can anyone reccomend what to do next. SHould I buy a pc and polish it real good. I have clayed and polished several times already and there really arent any swirls. Is my lack of deep shine technique or should I bump it up to a better product.????

Re: Help my paint
Great Questions! Welcome to DC by the way.
The place to start is by finding out what the issue is. You said it's not that deep wet shine your looking for..... Is the paint clowdy? swirled? A PC and some better polishes would probably help, but may not be neceissary.

Re: Help my paint
There really arent any swirls and the paint looks good. It looks very good waxed and shines like a new penny but i want a little more than the normal shiny wax job. I want it to look incredible and that is not what i am getting.

Re: Help my paint
If doing it by hand, or by PC....I would skip the step 2 (polish) and use Megs colorX instead (much better)...then before step three(the wax) I would add your favorite sealant such as NXT or any of the sponsors products(WG or Crystal Glow my favs...this will add the 'bling' you're looking for )....then add your carnauba if you wish(but no need to really), I would choose S100 before the step 3 though. But most importantly you must clay before any of these....you will be amazed at the difference it makes...thats my 2 cents...have fun and post some before and afters.

Re: Help my paint
I have found a lot of depth and shine from the Klasse AIO/Four Star UPP combo. I really like these products. You may want to give it a try. He combo you are using just might suit your needs.
