Here's my deal: I have a 2000 chevy s-10 pick-up (white)
I believe i have done an above average job caring for
my paint. Good soap(meguiars or mothers), chamois,
clay, pre-wax cleaner, cleaner wax, swirl remover/
cleaner and carnuba(paste and liquid). I'm sure I left
something out. All of these products are made by
mothers except the swirl remover.
I think my paint looks great but I want to go to the next level. What can I do? Does anyone have an idea? I'm out.

I'm not sure if you meant to put that in order or not- but by going what you said, the prewax and cleaner wax shouldn't be before the swirl removing because it will just be a waste of wax. The pre-wax cleaner can be used but isn't all so necessary at that point in the detail, unless the finish after the clay is still bad.

That process looks good. As for mothers, the wash is decent, but you may want to look into the Power Polishes and Synwaxes that they have released. You will see a big difference from mothers Original by look and application.

No they were not in any particuliar order, just a list of products used.
I did however make sure that when I used certain products that I did
go in the particuliar order.
So I feel that I have used quality products, or is their something I'm
missing that I should know as far as product is concerned?
I found out earlier today that I'vge been using a buffer to apply stuff,
I don't know if that has an impact on it or not.
I have looked at the synwax, but the word "synthetic" kind of throws
me off. Anyways thanks for getting back to me, i'm out.
