SSR (2.5) stain/fade on textured plastic trim.
I was detailing today and DID mask all that I had time to mask. On the rear bumper of the '87 911 there are two big rubber "bumpers" that project out past the ABS plastic. I thought I had wiped the entire area clear but after removing the mask found a fade line where the 2.5 had dried and, from what I can tell either faded the trim or absorbed and left a lighter discoloration. APC, no. S&W, no. TR, somewhat. Besides not leaving the 2.5 to dwell, what were and are my options? Trim dye from AutoInt or is it $impler than that?? Any help will help.
