Scratches on Front End
I have a dark blue 2002 Chevy Camaro that has seen it's fair share of bug guts and tree sap. In trying to get the offending items off, I've managed to scratch the clearcoat pretty bad.
nton I've tried a couple of different scratch removers and polishing compounds, but have only managed to make the situation worse. I don't know what I should try next. I was thinking about a polisher with a random orbit unit might be my next try, but I'm not sure. Any hints or ideas? The whole front wedge of this car needs help, but I'm most bugged by these scratches. I'm most interested in products I can buy at the local auto store instead of having to order, but I'll take all suggestions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
