Where to get Optimum Compound?

I just finished polishing out the Taurus with Optimum Polish and an LC Orange Dura-strand pad. It turned out great but I have a few heavy defects that even this combination can't get out (decade old paint that wasn't cared for in a previous life). Does anyone know where I can get a bottle of Optimum's compound? I've been looking for it on all the regular sites and it's nowhere to be found.

Re: Where to get Optimum Compound?

I have enough sealers for right now, once I run out of UPP I'll grab a bottle of OCW when I restock. I probably won't be getting it for a little while here, I don't have a ton of use for a dedicated compound right now and the polish was plenty aggressive for most of the defects on my car, a few just need the big guns. I was wondering if there was any talk of the sponsors getting it, I do love getting things from them, great CS and a discount to boot. Not going to be re-polishing the Taurus for a while so I probably won't get it until then.

BTW, thanks for the links. They'll come in handy if I change my mind or receive some unforseen cashflow.

:yeah

It never hurts to ask any vendor if they have something, even if it isn't listed on their site. If there are enough requests people will stock something especially if they carry other things in that line.
But you have to help by letting them know there is an interest in it.

Re: Where to get Optimum Compound?

I would pic up OCW just to have it You can Spit-Shine sealents with it and use it as a booster between Upps.

Greg, when you say OCW are you reffering to Optimum Car Wax? The spray? If so, is this used as a wax, or on top of wax?

You can use it either way with good results, but it was designed to be a stand alone LSP.
