AIO Question
I clayed, AIO-ed and UPP-ed my 300C a couple of weeks ago and washed it yesterday and wanted to re-apply a coat of UPP (I only had time to put one coat on it the first time.)
Since the first UPP treatment I picked up a few spots that washing did not remove - mostly on the horizontal surfaces - looked like tree sap to me. I hit them with a little AIO before putting on the UPP again and most of the spots came out. There were a few spots that were pretty hard to get out and some I gave up on for fear of damaging the clear coat. My question is what can/should I use on spots that AIO won't remove? Thanks for your help, Rob |

Re: AIO Question
For the ocassional scratch or blemish and other spots, I quickly grap the Scratch-X. I love the stuff. And it does a great job. I'd give that a try on those spots.

Re: AIO Question
One other thing to keep in mind. A polish such as AIO used with a terry towel for an applicator will be much more aggressive than when it is used with a foam applicator.
While I am a big fan of AIO, I have found that it doesn't do the greatest job on actual stains. As someone has said, it is not too agressive. Charles |

Re: AIO Question
rp1 - Were you able to take care of the spot problem, if so what did you use? I am also a UPP user and have tiny white spots after using UPP. On a another board there is a discussion that is very similar to this and the reasons for the spots seem to be due to applying too much UPP. The recommendations have been to AIO the surface and reapply UPP.
Thanks-JeffW |
