What can put over Zaino

Hi there,

I have a question..... my white car that is always garaged and babied has been clayed, cleaned, swirl remover and then Zaino'd. What can I put over Zaino? Sal always says not to put anything over it..... Comments appreciated.

Next, my red car proces....

1. dawn wash
2. zaino wash
3. clay with lubricant
4. zaino wash
5. mothers paint cleaner
5. mothers polish
6. meg #7
7. meg #26

I am very happy with the look. Any thoughts on the process???

Cheers

Re: What can put over Zaino

Well I assume you mean Zaino's sealants (Z2/Z5), in which case you can put a wax over them no problem. I put a carnauba over Zaino all the time and it definitely adds depth to the look, it's just less durable, so you need to re-apply more often.

Re: What can put over Zaino

do you mean the zaino is less durable or the carnuba. The car is always garaged and rarely driven (150 miles per year) so it should last. Would meg's #26 work well over zaino?

Thanks

Re: What can put over Zaino

The carnauba is less durable, so in this case the Meg's #26. Yes, Meg's 26 will go over Zaino, and odds are it will add some depth to the look. Try it out and see if you like it. If so, add some more every few months, if not it will wash off after a couple washes while the Zaino will remain. Either way you shouldn't have any problem applying it over Zaino.

Re: What can put over Zaino

over the old z2 , i preferred topping with Poorboy's Natty's

over the new z2 pro, i top with nothing. I tried topping it with souveran and the souveran "muted" the bling.. I think the new z2 pro formula is really not made for carnuba toppers. I've always had much better z2 pro results with layer 3 coats and then z8 whenever and its given great "pop"

my $.02

Re: What can put over Zaino

well i applied the nxt wax and noticed a lil bit of difference, maybe its because the wax is not the likes of souveran or p21s. But there was a lil bit of depth.
Hopefully in the future im gonna buy p21s and use it over zaino, ive heard some good reviews on that combo
