    Ford E-150 detail with PwSv3

I detailed this van well over a year ago, probably closer to 2 years ago, and it hasnt been washed a single time since. It is a neglected delivery van for my dad`s business. Needless to say, it was filthy.

    The process:
Megs Citri-Gel on wheels, tires, and rocker panels
Wash with Ardex car shampoo x 2
    Clay with Sonus block clay
    Wash with Ardex car shampoo
1 pass of PwSv3 on orange light cutting LC pad with PC on speed 5
Wheel wax tire gloss on tires
    PB NL on trim
    PB S&W on windows

My main goal here was just to get an idea of how PwSv3 works, not complete swirl removal (which is why i only did one pass) or maximum paint protection (which is why i didnt follow with a LSP).

Sorry about the horrible picture quality, I was using a 16mb card that was almost full with some school files that i couldnt delete with my camera, so i had to turn the picture quality and size all the way down.

    Befores:
You cant really get a feel for how filthy the paint was. It looks somewhat clean even in the befores, but there was actually a tough film on the paint, and black gunk had accumulated around all bodylines and trim. It was bad.

    During:
Here you can get an idea of how bad the paint was. I didnt use PwSv3 on the roof, that shot is just from washing.

The next two pictures show how well PwSv3 cleaned the paint. Keep in mind that this was after 3 washes and a claying. Depending on your monitor, you may have to really look for it, but the PwSv3 definatly whitened up the paint by at least a few shades.

The last picture shows how well PwSv3 removes swirls. I could have worked the product longer, and done a second pass and acheived much better swirl removal.

That`s a tremendously improved finish! I know that it took a lot of hard work. Well done!

thanks. He said something about how smooth the paint was, but i doubt he noticed, or cared, how much the condition of the paint actually improved.

This stuff is great by the way, Steve. These pictures really do not do the finish any justice. There is hardly any difference in the before and after shots, but as you can imagine, after an almost 2 year span of being parked outside without washings, there was a night and day difference in the appearance of the paint.
