Hi Joy! The XMT line can be used with a DA or a rotary polisher. From my own personal experience, I've only used them with the PC, but they worked great! They broke down in about 4 minutes. There was only a tiny bit of dust afterwards (alot like Menzerna) and it left the paint clear and clean with no haze or micromarring. I was using the XMT 2 and the XMT 1. I haven't yet used the XMT3, which is on the same level as Poorboy's 2.5, but I did forward your question to Meghan at autogeek and she's going to be contributing an answer as well since she's had more experience with them than I have at this point. One thing I can say is that the pad conditioner and pad cleaner are awesome and the carnauba finishing glaze is AMAZING!!! I think you will be very pleased with this line if you try it!

Yes there is a big difference, XMT 1 is something I would use to follow up after using the more aggressive ones. Or you can use 1 by itself if you are just looking to get rid of minor imperfections. XMT 1 has a VERY LIGHT CUT, and XMT 2 has a bit more of a bite! You should use 2 for water spots, oxidation, and light to moderate swirls and scratches. Hope this helps.

I borrowed some XMT from one of my buddies and loved it! used #1 on this M5 followed up with some NXT Paste.
